C.J Hamilton & Sons Model 47, 22 CAL S & L, MFG: 1927-32, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 16'' round tapered barrel. The original flat knob pistol grip & flat board style stock is good & solid. There is a 1'' x 1/2'' toe chip & some edge chipping at the pistol grip & stock retention screw. There is also several small contusions, scrapes & scratches to the original finish. Original metal blue finish rates 40% with areas of loss toned to a grey/brown patina. Steel rolled barrel carries 12 grooves at 1 turn to 16''. Bore is good, but brown with roughness amongst worn rifling. Original blade front & adjustable rear sight. Correctly carries no buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 120 to 250
