Remington, Model 4 Rolling Block CAL: 32 RF, MFG: 1901-26, SN: 170381, Single Shot Rolling Block Rifle, 24'' octagon barrel. Take-down lever example. The straight grip wood stock is excellent, having been lightly sanded & reoiled. There are smoothed contusions, scrapes & dings throughout, with an applied oil finish over the original. The metal blue finish on the barrel has fully toned to a brown patina, with some remnants of blue in protected areas. There is consistent spotting & intermittent pitting. The case-hardened frame has only shadows of case-colors remaining, worn to metal gray & toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. Adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Smooth crescent metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 350
