Description

J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. Model 101, .44 Shot, MFG: 1912-16, SN: 756, Falling block takedown. 26'' barrel. The straight grip wood stock is very good & solid. Stock & forearm have many minor scratches & dings to the remains of the orginal finish. Metal blue finish has worn to gun metal gray, with a spotty thin brown patina on the barrel. The Bore is very good. Original bead front sight. Original buttplate is broken at the toe & missing the bottom approximate 1/2''. Originally advertized as ''a splendid light gun for birds at 20 to 25 yards''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 400
