J. Stevens Arms Co., Model Crack Shot-26, Cal: .22 LR, MFG: 1916-19, S/N: None, lever action single shot rifle, 20'' barrel. The hardwood straight wrist stock & forend are very good, with a thin added thin layer of finish over the original finish. There are minor scratches, nicks, dings, dents, & wear from use/age. There is a 1'' hairline crack on the top of the wrist emanating from the upper tang. The metal has toned to a chocolate brown patina. The left side of the receiver is marked with a star proof & ''CRACK SHOT-26''. The top of the barrel is marked ''J. STEVENS ARMS COMPANY'' with patent dates & address, ''22-LONG RIFLE''. The bore is excellent. The barrel holds a blade front sight & a U-notch rear sight. The stock carries a smooth steel buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
