Remington, Model 6, CAL: 22, MFG: 1901-33, SN: S83828, Single Action Rolling Block Rifle, 20'' barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid. There is a 2'' crack coming off the bottom tang & another 2 1/2'' crack at the top of the wrist. There are a couple of other tiny stress cracks, along with contusions, scrapes & dings to the finish. Some metal blue finish on the barrel remains, but mostly worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina. The case-hardened receiver retains some faded, but visible outlines of case-colors, with the rest mostly worn to metal gray & a thin brown patina. Bore is fair & bright, with consistent scarring & pitting. Fixed rear sight, blade front sight & flip-up tang peep sight. Stock has an unmarked smooth metal buttplate.
