German Guild, Drilling, CAL: 16x16 & 8x57JRS (.313 Bullet), MFG: 1950's, SN: 21853, Break Action Combo Gun, 26 3/4'' barrels. The barrels are marked ''FLUS STAHL'' & ''KRUPP ESSEN'', with nitro proofs on both barrels. There are no other manufacturer markings. The checkered, capped pistol grip stock & forend are very good & solid. There is a small crack coming off the back of the upper tang, smoothed contusions, scratches, scrapes & smoothed checkering. There have been protective oils added over time & an added layer of finish. The belly of the stock has an integral 4 round chamber with push button flip-up door. The metal blue finish on the barrels rates 70% coverage, toned to a brown patina, with areas worn to metal gray & toned to a thin brown patina. The case-hardened receiver has externally worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina, with case-colors remaining on the inside of the receiver. The receiver, trigger guard, break lever, safety switch & forend break lever all display intricate ornamental scroll engraving. Shotgun bores are very good, with light scarring, roughness near the chamber & visible striations. The rifled bore is excellent. The rifle is fitted with a tang switch activated flip up rear sight. & beaded blade front sight. Stock has a checkered plastic buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
