Simson & Co (Suhl) Boxlock Shotgun, CAL: 16GA, MFG: circa 1950's, SN: 143921, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 28'' barrel. The checkered flat pistol grip stock is excellent, with an added layer of finish. The restored metal blue finish rates 98% on the barrels & the case-hardened receiver retains excellent case colors, worn to metal gray at the carry point. There is remnants of varnish on the metal surfaces. Bores are excellent. The solid matted rib holds a single front bead. Grooved plastic buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
