Winchester Model 42, CAL: .410, MFG: 1940, SN: 41655, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: MOD, 26'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock, with corncob forearm, are excellent, with very few light handling marks to the original finish. There is a small 1/8 to 1/4'' chip at the toe. The original metal blue finish rates 99% overall. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds a single front bead. Buttstock carries a Winchester marked, checkered black plastic buttplate. LOP: 13 7/8''. An excellent & very collectible example of an original Model 42. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 2000 to 4000
