Inland Division, Model: M1 Carbine, Cal: .30 Carbine, MFG: 1942-45, S/N: 208907, Semi-auto rifle, 17 3/4'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip, Type 4, potbelly wood stock is excellent. There is a faint ''P'' stamp on the bottom of the wrist. The left cheek of the stock has a faint ''AN'' stamp. The sling well is marked with a ''M''. The parkerized metal finish has been re-done at some point, evident by the front receiver markings being partial buffed away. The metal finish has full coverage & rates 98%. The re-park job appears to have been done at a arsenal. The receiver band is marked ''ARBINE'', ''.30M1''. The rear of the receiver is marked ''INLAND DIV'', & the S/N. the top end of the barrel is marked ''INLAND MFG DIV'', ''GENERAL MOTORS, ''3-44''. The barrel band is marked ''KI''. The bore is excellent. Its bright & mirror like with minimal wear. The barrel holds a wide blade front sight with protective wings. The rear of the receiver holds a fully adjustable aperture rear sight. The stock carries a checkered steel buttplate with areas of light rust. The rifle does not come with a mag.
