UNIQUE SET, Colt, 1873 Single Action Army, MFG: 1882, SN: 74180, Single Action Revolver, 4 5/8'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked in two lines ''COLTS PT. F.A MFG CO HARTFORD CT U.S.A''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''.45 COLT. The left side of the frame is marked with standard patent dates that have been partially buffed smooth. The SN can be found on the bottom of the frame & under the grips. The Stag grips are excellent. The metal finish has been stripped leaving the gun ''in the white''. The case-hardened frame has thin shadows from case-colors. The barrel was nicely engraved with floral scroll & punch-dot pattern. Bore is excellent, with minor roughness amongst the land & groove creases. Integral square notch rear sight & blade front sight. Bulls-eye ejector rod. This pistol is accompanied by a Otto Ernst Marked Tooled Belt & Ammo pouch made circa early 1900's -30's. The belt & holster & are all intricately tooled with floral leaf & the knife sheath displays deer & bird vignettes. The knife sheath carries a unmarked blade, with bone/antler grips.
