CASED PAIR, Colt, Third Model ''Thuer'' Derringers - London Proofed. 1) Colt, 3rd Model Derringer - 2nd Type, CAL: 41 RF, MFG: circa 1906, SN: 38467E, Swivel Action Single Shot Pistol, 2 1/2'' barrel. The antique ivory grips are excellent, with an attractive grain pattern. The original nickel finish rates 85%, with small areas of flaking revealing a nicely aged brass frame. The top of the barrel is marked ''COLT'' in italic lettering & the London proof marks can be found on the bottom of the barrel. Bore is very good, with intermittent roughness. Blade front sight.
2) Colt, 3rd Model Derringer - 2nd Type, CAL: 41 RF, MFG: circa 1908, SN: 41629, Swivel Action Single Shot Pistol, 2 1/2'' barrel. The antique ivory grips are excellent, with an attractive grain pattern. The original nickel finish rates 95%, with small areas of intermittent spotting & flaking revealing a gray patina. The top of the barrel is marked ''COLT'' in italic lettering & the London proof marks can be found on the bottom of the barrel. Bore is very good, with intermittent roughness. Blade front sight. This beautiful set of pistols comes in a leather wrapped case that is faintly marked '' L. COL. BRIDGES'' on the lid. The interior is red velvet, with a detached reproduction ''E.M Reilly & Co'' label, along with a small silver oil bottle. Case condition is fair, with overall wear, corner & edge splits, however the case is fully intact. A nice representation of two Thuer Derringers. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1800 to 2600
