Colt, Single Action Army - 3rd Gen , CAL: .45, MFG: 1978, SN: 96829SA, Single Action Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked ''COLT'S PT F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45''. The left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo above the trigger guard & next to patent dates. The full SN can be found on the frame. The original Rampant Colt & E.Pluribus Unum Eagle plastic grips are excellent. The factory metal blue finish on the barrel, cylinder & trigger guard rates 98%. There is minor speckling on the cylinder. The case-hardened frame displays vivid case-colors, with intermittent rust speckling. The loading gate is a smooth grey tone, with visible speckling. Bore is excellent. Integral rear sight & blade front sight. FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1400
