Colt, Detective Special - 1st Issue, CAL: 38 SPL, MFG: 1934, SN: 432170, Double Action Revolver, 2'' barrel. The Colt logo medallion checkered wood grips are very good. There is overall wear from use & age, with nicks, dings & areas of checkering beginning to wear smooth. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 95%, with wear at the muzzle. The frame rates 95%, with edges worn to metal gray & intermittent speckling. The trigger guard rates 80%, with concentrated wear to the back strap & spotting/speckling around the trigger. The cylinder also rates 80%, with holster wear & a couple areas of spotting worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina. Integral square notch rear sight & blade front sight. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 1800
