O.F Mossberg & Sons, Brownie, CAL: .22 LR, MFG: 1920-32, SN: 20180, 4-Barrel Pepperbox Pistol, 2 1/2'' barrel. The grooved wood grips are excellent. There are minor handling marks. The metal blue finish rates 40% overall, with areas toned to a brown patina & worn to metal gray. Bores are good, with intermittent roughness & pitting. Blade front sight. Mossberg provided a piece of bent sheet metal to extract the spent cartridges. That piece is present. This pistol was produced as double action, with a counter-clockwise rotating firing pin. The firing pin rotates to all four positions. This was Mossberg's first production pistol, selling just over 30,000. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 600
