Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works, 2nd Model Safety Automatic, CAL: 38 S&W, MFG: 1896-1908, SN: Q48514 (under grip), Double Action revolver, 3 1/4'' barrel. The IJ owl's head checkered hard rubber grips are excellent. There are minor contusions & surface scrapes. The original nickel finish rates 85% overall, with consistent light wear & spotting/flaking toned to a brown patina. Bore is fair, bright, but has consistent pitting throughout. Notch rear sight & blade front sight. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 50 to 200
