Belgian, British Bulldog, CAL: .38, MFG: 1870's-1900's, SN: 4317, Double Action Revolver, 2 3/8'' barrel. The top of the frame is marked ''BRITISH BULL DOG''. The checkered hard rubber grips are excellent. The bottom of the right grip has a very small edge chip, along with minor handling marks. The metal finish is a mix of applied blue/brown finish & metal gray, with cleaned pitting throughout. Bore is poor & consistently rough, with smooth rifling. Cylinder rod not secure. Made popular by Philip Webley & Son, there were various manufacturers in Europe & US producing these revolvers. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 50 to 150
