Manhattan Fire Arms, 1851 Navy - Series III, CAL: 36, MFG: 1861-64, SN: 36761, Single Action Percussion Revolver, 5'' barrel. The original wood grips are excellent, with contusions, scrapes & dings. Portions of the grips have darkened from added protective oils. The metal finish on the barrel, cylinder & frame have all worn to gun metal gray, toned to a thin brown patina, with consistent cleaned pitting throughout. The cylinder roll stamp is visible, but worn. The brass trigger guard has an aged patina, with areas of discoloration. Bore is fair & consistently rough, with pitting. Small hammer notch rear sight (when cocked) & small brass blade front sight. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 700
