PRESENTATION CASED, Smith & Wesson, Pre-Model 29 Four Screw, CAL: .44 MAG, MFG: 1957, SN: S172134, Double Action Revolver, 6 1/2'' barrel. The S&W logo medallion ''Coke Bottle'' wood grips are excellent. The grips appear to have a hand applied oil finish, that has darkened the left grip overall & enhanced the darker grains in the right grip. The original metal blue finish rates 98% overall. The case-hardened trigger & hammer retain excellent case-colors. Factory adjustable micrometer click rear sight & serrated blade front sight with red insert. Bore is excellent. Comes in a rare & highly collectible dark blue pebble grain leatherette presentation case with green velvet lining, marked S&W .44 MAGNUM on the lid. This seldom seen set would be a nice addition to any S&W collection.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3500 to 5500
