Mauser, Model: P08 Luger, Cal: 9x19mm, MFG: 1940, S/N: 3661, Semi-auto pistol, 4'' barrel. The checkered, black plastic grips are excellent with little to no wear. The blued metal finish rates 75% with areas of cleaned pitting, brown patina, & spots worn to gun metal gray. The left side of the upper assembly is marked with the S/N. the top of the upper assembly is marked ''1940''. The right side of the upper assembly is marked with three Waffenamt' s, the middle & far right stamp have are faded from wear. Front of the frame is marked with the S/N, & the S/N block letter ''m''. The right side of the barrel is marked with a iron eagle proof stamp. The bottom of the barrel is marked with the S/N, & ''8.81''. The top of the toggle is marked with the Mauser code ''42'' & the last two digits of the S/N. all visible serialized parts on the pistol are S/N matched. The bore is good. Its bright with roughness & thinned rifling. The barrel holds a barleycorn front sight with a V-notch rear sight. Pistol comes with one aluminum mag that's marked on the base ''3001'', ''t'', ''+'', & one Waffenamt proof stamp. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 2000
