RARE!! Walther (Interarms), Model: P-38K, Cal: 9x19mm, MFG: 1974-81, S/N: 502160, Semi-auto pistol, 2 3/4'' barrel.
HISTORY: Only 2600 of P-38K pistols were made. The K in the name stands for Kurz, which means short in German. These pistols have a few different, interesting features from the normal P-38. first is the obviously shorter than normal barrel, the slide mounted front sight, also the safety switch on the side only acts as a de-cocker for the hammer & does not lock into a safe position.
CONDITION: the black checkered, plastic grips are very good with a few light scuffs. The parkerized metal finish on the slide & barrel rates 97% with minimal wear. The left side of the slide is marked with a small dot in a circle. ''WALTHER'' in a banner, ''Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do'', ''P38-K Cal. 9mm''. The right side of the slide is marked with the S/N, ''INTERARMS'', ''ALEXANDRIA/VIRGINIA'', ''MADE IN GERMANY''. The front barrel lug is marked ''9 PARA''. The right side of the frame & slide are marked with proof marks. The bore is excellent. Its bright & mirror like with little to no wear. The slide holds a barleycorn front sight with a white dot in the middle, with a square notch rear sight with a white line in the middle. Pistol comes with one mag.
