Savage, Model 1907, CAL: 32 ACP, MFG: 1919, SN: 222029, 3 3/4'' barrel. Although history indicates production began in 1907, real production didn't truly begin until 1908. Advertised with the slogan ''Ten shots quick!'', the Model 1907 was very popular because, despite its small size, it had a 10-round double-stack magazine. The checkered gutta-percha grips are excellent & feature a Savage Indian profile logo. There are minor scratches & scrapes. This is a later variation pistol, with the more narrow serrations on slide & the flatter blued finish. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall, with holster wear & spotting, toned to a brown patina. The case-hardened trigger displays excellent case-colors. Bore is good, consistently rough, with intermittent pitting amongst strong rifling. Integral notch rear sight & blade front sight. A nice example of a late production 1907. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 750
