Savage, Model 1917, CAL: .32 ACP, MFG: 1926, SN: 257874, 3 3/4'' barrel. The Mod 1917 is a variant of the Mod 1907 & was manufactured from 1920-26. The 1917 is easily distinguishable from the 1907 by the oversized trapezoid grips. The original Savage checkered plastic grips are excellent, with minor scratches & scrapes. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on slide & 80% on the frame, with spotting, wear on the straps & sides of frame from holster wear. The trigger is case-hardened, retaining visible case-colors. Bore is excellent. Integral rear notch & blade front sight. Spur hammer. Factory double-stack magazine. Last year production 1917.
