Remington, Model: Military Rolling Block, CAL: Unknown caliber (measures .43 & could be 43 Spanish), MFG: Antique, S/N: NA, 35'' round barrel. The straight grip walnut stocks are good, as sanded & refinished. The wood fits well to metal parts. The letters ''MM'' are carved into the left side of stock, & there is a number of contusions, scrapes, nicks & scratches to the wood. The metal components have brown patina, with lots of rust pitting. Rifle is mounted with a sliding elevator/ladder sight, marked ''1'' to ''4'' on the left side. The front sight is a small blade on top of block of steel. All 3 barrel bands have Swedish crown stamps. The left side of the receiver has a ''AY'' inside of a box stamping. Bore is poor, with lots of rust pitting & roughness. The steel buttplate appears original. Original sling swivels mounted on bottom of buttstock & middle barrel band. Has ramrod channel, but missing rod. Rifle is missing the chamber rolling block & possibly other components. It is therefore being sold ''AS IS'', as a parts rifle with no returns.
