Civil war rifle bullets, from the american civil war is this genuine cone shaped rifle bullet called a ''minie''. This bullet was made to fit almost 370 different gun (65 different calibers ranging from .22 to .858) and increased the accuracy of rifles to about 300 yards. It was used by both sides of the infantry during the conflict. Generals found that they soon needed to change their tactics for fighting battles because of this bullet. No longer could they line up their soldiers and start blasting away, now they has to fight and defend greater distances and use cover whenever possible. This is to certify that this is a genuine Civil war artifact. Grade: Very Good - Value: 30 to 60
