US, M1873 Trapdoor Springfield socket bayonet, with sheath & frog. Bayonet appears to have been buffed & re-blued with spots of cleaned pitting with bluing inside, spots of bluing starting to tone a brown patina. The top of the blade is marked ''US''. The brass hanger is marked ''US''. Sheath has spots of rust, leather is starting to crack from age. Grade: Very Good - Value: 60 to 120
