RARE!!, British, Sten Mk.1 Bayonet, with sheath & frog. The blade has only a few spots of finish thinning. There are no visible markings on the bayonet. The sheath has spots of paint chipping/thinning. This very crude bayonet was designed for the Sten Mk.2 submachine gun. The blade design was copied from the No.4 Mk.3 bayonet & utilized the same sheath. Around 75,000 were made with nearly all the bayonets believed to have been scrapped making surviving examples scarce. Grade: Excellent ++ - Value: 100 to 300
