Peru, Simson & Co. SUHL, M1909 Sword Bayonet (M1898 n/A). The blade is bare metal with spots of patina. The wood grips appear to have been lightly sanded & oiled. The press stud button is missing. The right side of the blade is marked ''SIMSON & CO'', ''SUHL''. The right side of the guard is marked ''30459''. The bottom of the pommel is marked with the Peru Coat of arms. Beginning in 1910, Peru reportedly received 50,000 from Mauser, designating them Modelo 1909. Grade: Very Good - Value: 50 to 100
