RARE!, Polish, Society of the Motors Factory Perkun, WZ 29 Bayonet, with sheath & frog. The blued blade has almost full coverage with spots of wear from the sheath. Thew wood grips have light wear. The left side of the blade is marked with a crowned eagle over ''W.P.'' (Wojsko Polskie = Polish Army). The right side of the blade is marked with a ''A'' in a box proof, ''PERKUN'', & a triangle proof with a faint marking inside. The right side of the guard is marked ''481855''. The sheath has finish thinning & spots of brown patina. The back of the frog has the MFG marking but its faint & hard to read, the MFG date is visible & is ''1939''. A very rare bayonet with not many being made, & most of what was produced was either destroyed, or captured & modified by the Germans for use with their rifles. This one is a excellent example in very high condition. Grade: Excellent ++ - Value: 100 to 300
