Brazil, Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. of Solingen, M1908 bayonet & sheath. The blade is bare metal with spots of patina. The guard & pommel have spots of brown patina. The wood grips have light wear. The left side of the blade is marked ''W.K&CLE'', ''SOLINGEN''. The spine of the blade is marked with a teardrop over ''B'' inspection mark. The right side of the guard is marked ''42702''. The left side of the pommel is marked with the ''B'' inspection mark. The brass & leather sheath has wear & patina from use/age. The sheath is marked ''C 3322'' on the frog stud. This bayonet is for the M1908 Mauser rifle produced for Brazil by DWM in Germany. These bayonets were made from 1908-1914 by several German blade makers. This example was made by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. of Solingen, Germany. The sheath is a earlier made German model. Grade: Excellent - Value: 50 to 150
