Turkish, Askari Fabrika, M1935 bayonet & sheath. The blade is bare metal & is covered in old grease. The guard & pommel have toned to a brown patina. The wood grips have small dings & wear. The right side of the pommel is marked ''AS.FA'', the left side is marked ''45501''. The sheath has finish wear, scratches & parts toning to a brown patina. This is the final Turkish bayonet type designed for use with Mauser rifles. This example is of new manufacture. However, the M1935 designation is also applied more broadly to a bewildering variety of similarly-dimensioned bayonets cobbled together using recycled parts from older bayonets. Grade: Very Good ++ - Value: 30 to 90
