German/Czech, S 24(t) (VZ 24), bayonet/sheath. The blade is bare metal & has been buffed/worn enough that all markings are gone. The metal sheath has a black paint that has mostly worn/chipped away, showing bare metal that's toning a brown patina. The S 24(t) model, is the name of captured Vz 24 bayonets that have had their muzzle rings cut off, & used in the German army, during the occupation of Ceskoslovenska. The left over stockpiles when the country was taken over were modified, & new production ones made at the CZ plant were made to the new standard. This bayonets markings are all gone but it appears to be a older MFG bayonet that was modified. Grade: Very Good - Value: 40 to 80
