German, Josua Corts Sohn Remscheid, M1884/98 Third Pattern (K98k), bayonet & sheath. The sheath & bayonet have been chromed for parade use. The blade has sheath wear & a few spots of light patina. The guard & pommel have light wear & scratches. The Bakelite grips have light wear. The left side of the blade is marked ''43ddl'', while the right side is marked ''2074''. The left side of the pommel is marked with two, Waffenamt proof stamps. The sheath has wear & scratches. The sheath is marked ''JOS.CORTSSN'', ''1938'', ''5992'', ''9''. This is the third & last pattern of the M1884/98 bayonet that was designed pre WW1, & was the primary bayonet used on the K98k rifle. Grade: Very Good - Value: 80 to 160
