Guadalcanal VET BRING BACK JAPANESE FLAGS, WW2 Japanese army Flags, one larger flag made from silk, that would have been flown by the Headquarters tent. The smaller flag is made from cotton was to be tied to the bayonet on their rifle when they would do a Bonzi charge. This was done to symbolize that the emperor was leading the charge. The GI that brought them back from Guadalcanal signed his name on the corner of the smaller cotton flag & is ''SANTOS PRONGORIA''. Both flags come in a WW2 era red cross medical bag.
