Description

FANTASTIC Winchester, Model 1873, 3rd model, .32 WCF Cal., MFG: 1886, SN: 195976, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are excellent & solid, with minor handling marks & contusions to the original finish. The rifle displays better than standard wood, with rippled & feathered grain on both the stock & forearm. The wood may have a very thin layer of protective oils over the original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel & mag, while the case-hardened receiver, lever, hammer & buttplate all display fabulous & bold case-colors. The receiver has some light speckling. Fitted with an adjustable rear & pinch blade front sights. Bore is good, with cleaned pitting & roughness amongst strong rifling. Stock carries a sliding trapdoor crescent metal buttplate. Comes with a Cody Factory Records Look-up Sheet confirming configuration & dates. This is an excellent high condition 1873 & is very desirable with the bold case-colors. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 10000 to 15000
