Description

Winchester, Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine, CAL: 30 WCF (30-30), MFG: 1916, SN: 836459, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The straight grip wood stock & forend are very good, with the stock having been sanded & refinished, & the forearm having an added thin layer of finish over the original finish. There are minor surface scrapes, scratches & contusions, most found on the forearm, along with a 1 1/2'' tight stress crack on the left side of forearm & a small missing chip of wood on the upper right shoulder of the wrist at the receiver. The original metal blue finish rates 40% on the barrel & 80% on the mag tube, while the receiver has worn mostly gun metal gray. Bore is excellent. Fitted with a Climbing Lyman receiver sight, a Marble's blank filled rear dovetail & a carbine box & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth metal carbine style buttplate. Missing the saddle ring. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
