Description

Winchester Model 88, CAL: 308 WIN, MFG: 1955, SN: 1415, Lever Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. Pre-64. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stock is excellent. It displays minor scratches, scuffs, & scrapes to the excellent original finish, which shows a bit of thinning at the forend carry point. The original metal blue finish rates 95% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver is mounted with a Simmons 3-9x32 scope, while the barrel holds the original flip-up rear sight & a hooded ramp front sight. Stock carries a the original checkered buttplate. Comes with two extra ''Winchester'' stamped magazines. Factory sling swivels. Very nice overall & collectible in this high original condition.
