Description

BOXED Winchester, Model 94 Cheyenne Carbine, 44-40 WIN Cal., MFG. 1977, SN: CH07119, Lever Action, 20'' barrel. In 1977 Winchester produced 11,220 of these Commemorative Cheyenne Carbines. The gold washed receiver is engraved on both sides with vignettes that celebrate the ''Great Plains Cheyenne's''. The handsome straight grip walnut stocks carry gold washed tacks in the forend & a gold tone Cheyenne medallion inlayed into the right side of the stock. The stock & the factory finish are basically mint. The gold tone receiver, lever & barrel bands are excellent. The original metal blue is 99.9%. Bore is mint. The rifle is fitted with a sliding aperture adjusting tang sight, while the barrel carries the original adjustable rear & hooded blade front sights. The stock carries a blued crescent metal buttplate. Comes in the original numbers matching styro box, with sleeve, wax paper, hanging tag & paper work. Sleeve is excellent. Another excellent Winchester collectible. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
