Description

Custom build New England Firearms, Pardner two barrel set, Calibers: 450 X 2.1 Nitro Express & .577 X 2 1/2 BPE (Black Powder Express), MFG: Modern, SN: NP281148, Break Action Single Shot Rifle, Currently mounted with the 450 Bore barrel which is 20 3/4'', while the .577 barrel is 26''. The flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, with a few minor scratches to the finish. Both barrels carry their own forends. The receiver is case-colored, with vivid tones. The metal blue finish on the barrels have both worn mostly gun metal gray with some remains of blue in more protected areas. The .577 barrel has several spotty areas of cleaned rust pitting. Bore are both good, but with some haze & spots of roughness amongst strong rifling. The 450 barrel holds a slide adjusting rear & ramped blade front sight, while the .577 barrel carries a two leaf rear & small blade on box foundation front sight. Buttstock carries a solid Pachmayr recoil pad. Sling eyelets. Comes with 17 rounds & two shot brass of custom loaded .577 Express ammo from Rocky Mountain Cartridge, LLC brass.
