Description

Customized Rifle, Built from a U.S. Winchester 1917 Enfield Action, CAL: 30-06, MFG:1918 (action), SN: 364993, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 1/2'' Original military cut-down barrel. The custom made cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo & Mannlicher style wood stock is excellent, as left as raw wood, ready for finish. The current metal blue/gray finishes rates 75% overall, except on floorplate which is worn gray.. The barrel appears to be the original, with several military marking on the bell of the barrel. The receiver sight has been removed & the top of the receiver has been tapped with four open holes from previous scope mounting. Barrel upgraded to a commercial front ramp sight. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a Fajen plastic buttplate. Eddystone bolt & bolt release lever. A nice sporterized or custom military to hunter conversion. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
