BOXED Ruger, Model Gunsite Scout, Stainless, 308 WIN Cal., MFG. 2016, SN: 680-91680, Bolt Action Rifle, 16.1'' Tapered round barrel. These little rifles are fairly rare & becoming collectible, as they were a distributor exclusive limited supply run. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip American Walnut stock is excellent, with some minor scrapes, scuffs or scratches, mostly in the area of the pistol grip & belly behind it. The free-floating, cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel has a matte silver finish, which Ruger refers to as their ''All-Weather'' finish. The exterior & bore are excellent, Receiver contains a rugged, one-piece, stainless steel bolt & a three-position safety. The stainless steel receiver has integral scope mounts, machined directly on the receiver to provide a stable mounting surface for the included scope rings. The barrel carries four factory screw filled holes for a possible forward-mounted Picatinny rail for the mounting of modern optics. At the muzzle end is a non-glare, protected blade front sight & a threaded cap, which could be removed for the mounting of a flash suppressor or suppressor. Buttstock carries the factory solid recoil pad, with a current length LOP of 12 3/4'', but also come with two factory 1/2'' spacers for extended LOP adjustment to 13 3/4''. Stock carries factory sling studs. Detachable AI-style magazine. Comes in the original SN matching box with buttstock spacers, lock paperwork & packaging.
