Description

Sporterized Rifle, Built from a Carl Gustaf Stads Gevarsfaktori M1898 Swedish Mauser, CAL: 6.5x55 Swedish, MFG: 1910-20 (action), SN: 398736, Bolt Action Rifle, 22 1/2'' cutdown barrel. Likely, a WWI era rifle. The upgraded cheeked, checkered & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo style wood stock is excellent, with very few handling marks to the stock's finish. The current metal blue finish rates 95% overall. The barrel appears to be the original, having been shortened & with the rear sight barrel band removed. The rifle now carries a Bushnell High Contrast Optics 3-9x scope & no open sight provisions. Bore is good. Stock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. A nicely sporterized or custom military to hunter conversion. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
