Sporterized Roma Italian 1891 Carcano, CAL: 6.5x52, MFG: 1918, SN: 605, Bolt Action Rifle, 21 3/4'' cutdown barrel. The original cut-down & roughly reshaped wood stock is fair & solid. The stock has a dark brown finish. The barrel appears to be the original, having been shortened. The barrel exterior was rough & pitted, & has a black sprayed finish on it which is peeling & flaking. The metal on the receiver, trigger guard & mag box is brown. The original rear sight has been altered but still has adjustment & there is a banded box blade front sight. Bore is fair. Stock carries a metal buttplate & rear sling loop. A roughly altered military conversion. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 50 to 100
