Description

Winchester, Model 1900, CAL: .22 SHORT& LONG, MFG: 1900-01, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' Round tapered barrel. The original wood stock is good & solid, after having a long break/crack in the stock glue repaired, which runs from the right side of the receiver past the forend screw & back up to the left side of the receiver. There is also a 1'' splice of wood on the right side under the bolt handle. Stock is solid & strong after the repairs, which were nicely executed. The stock was then lightly sanded & refinished, with minor contusions & handling marks remaining. The metal blue finish has worn mostly gray, with a very thin brown patina in areas. The bore is poor, with lots of scarring & almost no remaining rifling. Barrel carries a small fixed rear & small blade front sights. No buttplate, which was standard on this model. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 200
