Description

Springfield (J.Stevens Arms Co.), Model: 84C, Cal: .22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1938-60, S/N: None, Bolt action rifle, 24'' barrel. The flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid, as being sanded & re-finished. Stock also has some light scratches & handling marks remaining. The metal finish has completely worn gray, with some line remains of brown patina. Nickel finish on bolt. The bore is very good. The barrel holds a standard rear sight without the riser & an updated Marble Sheard blade front sight. The stock carries a grooved plastic buttplate, which is a bit oversized & has a large edge chip on the left side. Detachable mag. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 80 to 150
