The straight grip wood stocks are poor, having several long cracks emanating from the upper & lower tangs & the buttend. There is a 2 1/2'' stress crack coming off of the upper tang & a tight 2'' hairline crack at the left side of wrist. The stock retention screws in the upper & lower tang appear to be replacements & the stock is currently being held tighter to the tangs with two zip ties. The forearm also has a small missing chip at the right forend tip. The metal has fully worn gun metal gray. Bore is clean, but with roughness amongst remains of worn rifling. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & original blade front sight. Hard rubber Stevens Favorite buttplate, with the missing chip.
