Description

The Hamilton Rifle Co. Model 27 (Tip-up Model), 22 CAL (S. & L.), MFG: 1907-30, SN: NONE, Single Shot, Tip-up Break Action Rifle, 14 7/8'' round barrel. 29 1/2'' overall length. The flat board, straight grip, walnut stained birch stocks are very good & solid, as having been replaced. The stock has an area of fill behind the trigger guard. The stocks have a few minor of scratches & contusions to the very good finish. The metal has worn to a mix of gun metal gray & thin brown patina, with some remains of original blue mixed in. Some light pitting & speckling. The sides of the receiver & on the barrel have been electric pencil engraved with a 7 digit number. Receive screw & nut holding on the stock is a replacement. Steel rolled barrel over brass bore liner, 6 groove bore with 1 turn in 15''. Bore is good. Blade front & early rear sight combination. ''S'' shaped trigger guard, with replacement screw. No buttplate style. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 70 to 140
