Description

Winchester, Model 1887, CAL: 10 GA, MFG: 1889, SN: 24163, Lever Action Shotgun 30 1/8'' barrel. The original round knob wood stock & forend grip panels are fair to good & solid. They have been sanded & refinished long agon, but still show dings, nicks, scrapes & scratches. There is a 1'' x 2'' missing piece at the toe of stock. The case-hardened receiver has fully worn & toned to a mix of brown patina & metal gray, while the barrel & mag tube have an even brown patina. Bore is fair, rough & pitted. Single bead front sight. Widow's peak checkered metal buttplate. The gun is difficult to work the lever & action, & the trigger does not pull or fire the action. This shotgun will need to be worked on, with possible parts replaced to fully operate again. It is therefore being sold ''AS IS'', as a gun needing repair & is sold with NO RETURNS. It is already a cool wall hanger as is. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
