Description

Riverside Arms (J. Steven), Model 520 (Martially Stamped), CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1938-39, SN:12108B, Pump Action Shotgun, Full, 30'' barrel. The checkered & pistol grip stocks are good & solid. The stock has been cut to a length of pull of 12 5/8'' & was heavily sanded, refinished & the checkering was non-professionally re-cut. The forearm carries an added coat of finish over the original checkering & flaking finish. The stocks have numerous small scratches, scrapes & contusions. The metal has worn mostly gray, with some mix of remaining blue & areas toning brown. Left side of receiver has some small numbers & a date lightly scratched into it. Bore is very good. The stock carries an altered & poorly fit vintage buttplate, with a leather spacer. Barrel carries a single front bead. This gun has a problem with the mag plunger & spring wanting to push out of the mag tube into the receiver & causing the bolt not to slide or cock properly. We recommend this shotgun visit a gunsmith before attempting to use & is therefore being sold as a parts gun & ''AS IS'', with no returns. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 80 to 200
