Description

Browning, Model A5, Two barrel set, CAL: 16 GA, MFG: 1959 (Belgium), SN: 9R40510, Semi-Auto Shotgun, Chamber: 2 3/4'', Chokes: FULL & MOD, 27 1/2'' Full & 25 1/2'' Matted Mod barrels. The checkered & round pistol grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. There are several light scrapes, scratches & contusions to the original finish, which has a few spots of thinning & rub loss. The original metal blue finish on the barrels rate 95% on the Full barrel, 80% Mod barrel,& 85% coverage on the receiver, but with thinning & some spotting or speckled loss on the receiver starting to tone to a brown patina. Hand accent engraving on the receiver & trigger guard. Bores are excellent. The barrels hold a single raised front bead. The Full barrel carries the # ''E29003'' & the Mod barrel the # ''X20041''. The buttstock carries the original FN buttplate. LOP: 14 3/16''. An excellent, original & collectible example. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1200 to 1800
