C.S.Shattuck, American, CAL: 8 Ga, MFG: 1870's-80's, S/N: 125, Break Action Single Shot, 36'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock & forend are excellent as having a 3'' toe chip repair. Stock has a few other small nicks, dings, & dents. The wood appears to not be the original wood & was replaced at some point. The metal finish has worn away & is a gun metal gray with spots of gray patina. The Damascus pattern on the barrel is faded but still sightly visible. The top rear of the barrel is marked ''LONDON TWIST'', ''AMERICAN''. The bore is very good. Its bright with roughness. The barrel holds a bead front sight. The stock carries a smooth steel buttplate with some patina. Shotgun has no sling points. Antique - No FFL required. - Value: 800 to 1600
